Claro launches promotional discounts to BlackBerry subscribers (Brazil)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Claro, the Brazilian mobile operator, has introduced a promotion offering BlackBerry services free of charge for the first month for the subscribers who buy a Pearl Flip 8220 from RIM. The campaign is valid for new and existing subscribers, also offers a 60% discount on the tariff plan for the first five months of the contract. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 includes Wi-Fi, a MP3 player and a video player compatible with the DivX/Xvid formats.
As part of the Estilo 500 + modulo Blackberry Pessoal plan, the device is priced at BRL 1199. For those interested in other models from RIM, the operator offers the first monthly fee free and a 40% discount on the following five months.
