O2 to sell HTC HD2 Smartphone
O2 owned by Telefonica has received the latest windows phone 7 smartphone, the handset is already in stock with T-Mobile and Vodafone.
The mobile phone which follows the already released TG01 is now available for just US$54.77 per month as a result of a US$143.29 cash back offer. User can also avail 24 month contract and can expect to receive unlimited texts and up to 1200 minutes per month. For people who choose the shorter 18 month contract will have to pay US$68.35 and get the reduced limits of just 500 minutes and 500 texts.
According to General Manager of O2 within the UK Steve, HTC HD2 is the first HTC branded phone to be sold on O2 We love the large screen and combination of Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense. The HTC HD2 is to be made available via Carphone Warehouse in their high street stores and online.
T-Mobile to launch HTC HD2
HTC HD2 is expected to be displayed during a T-Mobile event on March 16. The set is supposed to be launched on March 24 for about $199 with a new two-year contract.
The phone has features like 1Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, WiFi, 3G, high-resolution 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen, GPS, a microSD slot and Blockbuster On Demand integration. MWC2010: T-Mobile to launch ‘Blockbuster on Demand’ via HTC HD2
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Introduction of a new mobile entertainment suite along with the forthcoming HTC HD2 touch screen device, highlighted by the premiere of Blockbuster on Demand has been announced by T-Mobile USA.
Blockbuster on Demand will enable consumers to purchase a movie on one device and watch it across other connected devices.
The announcement was made at Mobile World Congress 2010 by T-Mobile USA chief technology and innovation officer Cole Brodman according to whom the operator will further trick out the HD2 with the addition of bookseller giant Barnes & Noble’s eReader application, which promises more than a million ebooks, newspapers and magazines, as well as the MobiTV application, which delivers live and on-demand content from partners like ESPN, NBC and Comedy Central.
Apart from this, subscribers who purchase the HD2 will receive up to six months of free in-flight WiFi service courtesy of Gogo Inflight Internet.
