Telefonica O2 Slovakia launches new Filip postpaid plan
Telefonica O2 Slovakia is offering O2 Filip, providing customers with flexibility in decisions on monthly consumption. They only need to set up the amount in the wallet. Calls, SMS, MMS or data are spent from the wallet as needed. Moreover, O2 Filip automatically provides unlimited and free calls within the O2 network.
Unspent amounts from the wallet for the respective billing period are transferred to the next period.
Changes in the amount can be done via SMS for free, according to the customer’s needs. The free on-net calls apply before spending the wallet amount. The same conditions apply when calling to numbers of partner operators Tesco Mobile, Swan Mobile and Nay Mobile.
The price per minute to other networks in Slovakia and from Slovakia to the Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, Hungary, UK and Ireland varies according to the selected wallet amount.
For SMS the operator charges the single rate of US$0.08. With the calling plan, customers can activate the package O2 Data Unlimited, which is available without commitment for all customers of O2 Filip. The monthly fee of US$9 for the package will be spent from the wallet.

Telenor Hungary introduces Klikk promotion
Telenor Hungary has introduced a promotion whereby customers registering for the Klikk service can explore the web with a data allowance of 100 MB per month free of charge for the initial three months.
Once the 100 MB domestic data allowance is used, customers will not be imposed an excess usage charge and can continue using mobile internet, albeit at a reduced speed.
After the three-month trial period expires, the service will have a gross monthly fee of US$5.55. A key component of the service is the free small screen-optimised Opera Mini browser featuring seven pre-configured websites for ease of use.
In addition to Telenor’s mobile portal, they include Facebook, Gmail and several popular news portals (Startlap, Index). Users can also set favourite websites themselves. The Klikk service is available to both prepaid and postpaid customers with price plans other than MobilKvartett, Menedzser, Internet, djuice or Red Bull Mobile. Based on recent surveys conducted by Telenor in Hungary, users with an internet-enabled handset mostly use the internet from their mobile phone to enjoy fast and convenient anytime access to information.
Many of them use their mobile phone to access the web while on the road (58 percent of respondents), but 40 percent and 30 percent surf the web with their mobile phone also at home and in the office. Based on Telenor’s experience, customers introduced to the benefits of the internet are very likely to become regular users. The Klikk service aims to prove that mobile internet access is no longer the privilege of smartphone users.
