SFR to offer iPhone 3G in France from 8 April’09
The French mobile operator SFR has reported to launch the iPhone 3G on 8th April 2009 and will be available in its 800 stores and online as well. The announcement has come soon after Orange lost exclusivity of Apple iPhone 3G in France.
SFR has also revealed the cost of the iPhone 3G wherein 8 GB version and the 16GB version will be priced at $126.06 and $252.9 respectively, with Illimythics plans, offering unlimited SMS, e-mail, internet access and Wi-Fi.
The Illimythics for iPhone subscribers will range from 1 hour of voice calls for $53.26/per month to 4 hours of calls for $86.32, both on two-year contracts.
The iPhone 3G will also be available to prepaid subscribers.
