InfoSpace’s Mobile Chief Departs
InfoSpace announced Stephen Davis is resigning his post as president of mobile and online media. The resignation comes on the heels of InfoSpace’s recently announced restructuring plans.
Davis came on board at InfoSpace in November 2005 and has been responsible for managing InfoSpace’s mobile entertainment business.
Davis plans to leave the company on Jan. 1 to “pursue other career opportunities,” according to InfoSpace.
The company is in the midst of a restructuring effort and his position will not be filled. As part of the restructure, InfoSpace plans to reduce its investment in mobile content. Moving forward, InfoSpace says it will concentrate efforts on its online and mobile infrastructure businesses.
