www.WirelessFederation.com/news: T-Mobile USA will reportedly launch the HTC Touch Pro2 smartphone for its subscribers on 12 August. The handset will be available in mocha finish, but pricing details remain unrevealed.
While the smartphone will still run on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, it brings a number of notable improvements, such as a brilliant 3.6-inch WVGA tilting touch screen, a touch-sensitive zoom bar, a spacious full QWERTY keyboard, and support for T-Mobile’s 3G network. The Touch Pro2 rounds out the wireless options with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Other goodies include HTC’s Straight Talk technology, which brings enhanced phone features, and a 3.2-megapixel camera.

T-Mobile will be the first USA mobile operator to offer HT Touch Pro2.

The operator, with bringing of this multimedia handset, seems to be moving towards its target of ‘prosumer’ market. Available in a matt black finish, the HTC Touch 3G features the 2.8-inch touch-screen, while all your internet desires are catered for with both Wi-Fi and HSDPA onboard with the additional bonus of a 3.2-megapixel camera. The handset can also handle a 30GB microSD card (though at present Sandisk for example are currently only selling 16GB versions), which will provide plenty of storage for music, videos and photos.
HTC Touch 3G is being called the phone for business users as it operates on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which enables the user to synchronise all the Outlook email, contacts and calendar information between your PC and phone.

Movistar Mexico launches Palm Treo Pro

The Palm smartphone features e-mail, Wi-Fi, GPS, web and CDMA EV-DO Rev A network capabilities. Treo Pro is adorned with a high-resolution colour LCD touch screen, a full QWERTY keyboard and a voicemail indicator which flashes to let users know that a voicemail message is waiting.
