US Cellular brings LG Banter to USA

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: LG Electronics MobileComm USA and US Cellular have announced the launch of the LG Banter phone. The mobile handset features a full qwerty keyboard and a chat-style messaging interface. The handset comes with changeable faceplates, including lime green and titanium variations. The LG Banter offers a 1.3MP camera, an integrated MP3 player, stereo Bluetooth wireless technology and a microSD expandable memory slot that can support up to a 16GB card. The phone comes with preloaded applications comprising Your Navigator, Tone Room, a ringtone shop that is updated daily with music from every genre, Pacman and City ID and an enhanced caller ID.

The LG Banter also includes the EasyEdge, US Cellular’s suite of enhanced wireless data application services. The EasyEdge allows subscribers to shop for content including ringtones, wallpaper and games, as well as to locate recent news and entertainment.
