Bellperre has continued its lineup of luxury handsets through the launch of its tailor-made NERO GOLD ‘Brushed Steel, Precious Buttons’ mobile phone. The Bellperre Nero Gold (100 x 44 x 15,5mm) is now available in high polished solid silver or gold buttons.

The shiny buttons are meant to capture the light, to create a great design with the unique combination of black crocodile shiny patent leather combined with brush steel metal and shiny gold buttons.

According to Bellperre, the handset includes only luxury leather, pure steel, hard wood, sapphire crystal, precious gold and diamonds.

There is also a 2-inch TFT display made of sapphire crystal that can offer a 176 x 220 pixel resolution. In addition, the Bellperre Nero Gold also features Windows Mobile as its operating platform and includes Bluetooth 2.0 capabilities, as well as a camcorder and a video player.

Nokia Plans to Open `Flagship’ Store in Mexico City

Nokia Oyj, the world’s largest mobile-phone maker, will open a “flagship” store in Mexico City in an effort to increase visibility and lift sales.The store, which will be open tomorrow, is located in the Antara shopping mall in Polanco and will also offer luxury handsets sold under the Vertu brand, the Espoo, Finland-based company said today in a statement.

The outlet is Nokia’s sixth flagship store after openings in Moscow, Chicago, Hong Kong, New York and Helsinki, and the first in Latin America. The stores are typically located on fashionable shopping streets such as Fifth Avenue in New York and Tverskaya in Moscow. Nokia has said Regent Street in London and Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich would also be suitable locations.

Antara is “the premier shopping address in all of Mexico,” Cliff Crosbie, head of retail trade at Nokia, said in the statement. “Antara is synonymous with the best brands, superior service and an elegant shopping experience.”

Nokia’s unit sales jumped by 32 percent in the third quarter to 9.9 million phones in Latin America, where market share gains were “most notable”, helping the company to boost its global share to 36 percent.
