Cosmote Romania launches Martisor, targets prepaid subscribers
Cosmote, the Romanian incumbent, is offering a new option for prepaid subscriber dubbed as Martisor. With Martisor, prepaid subscribers can make calls to all national and fixed international networks, as well as a bundle for on-net calls and text messages. The prepaid option will allow 40 minutes in all national, most international fixed networks in Europe, fixed and mobile networks in the US, Canada and Israel, as well as 425 on-net minutes and SMS messages.
This new option can be activated by the subscribers between 24 February-23 March and can be used for a year at a cost of $5.75 per month. In order to activate the option, users need to send a blank SMS to 425 or call the toll free numbers 133 or 333.
