TIM launches SMS tariff promotion (Brazil)
TIM Brasil has introduced a new promotion for the subscribers of its MegaTIM Torpedos 2009 package, with the SMS charges of less than BRL 0.01 each. Until 19 March, the subscribers of the post- or pre-paid plans Conta Fixa can avail for the packages of 1,000 messages for BRL 9.90. The validity for these packages is 15 days, and the messages can be sent to TIM subscribers across Brazil.
For the activation, subscribers will have to send an SMS with the words MEGA to the number 4141. Subscribers of the prepaid or Conta Fixa plans must have at least BRL 10 in their account to be eligible for the promotion. The package will be made available within 72 hours after the subscription.
