Motorola launches three handsets in Taiwan, plans Android device in Q4’09
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Motorola, the handset manufacturer has launched three new mobile handsets in the Taiwanese mobile market, namely, the Ming A1210, a new version of the Moto Surf A3100, and the W7.
The Ming A1210 has been developed by Motorola’s R&D labs in Beijing. The A3100 is a touchscreen device designed by Compal Communication whereas the W7, a entry-level 3G handset is developed by Qisda. With the launch of these handsets, Motorola anticipates a rise in its market share in Taiwan. The manufacturer also intends to launch Android device in Q4’09, followed by two or three more by Q1’10.
