China Mobile to invest $10Bn to boost rural mobile network

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: China Mobile, country’s largest mobile operator and the Ministry of Agriculture, China, have inked an agreement where in the mobile operator plans to invest 70 billion yuan (10.24 billion U.S. dollars) in next three years to improve the telecommunications networks in the rural areas of the nation.
This program will bring the mobile phone services to the Chinese villages by 2012 and the coverage is likely to be nearly 98% of the villages across the nation.
