Vodafone Romania launches mobile insurance service

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Vodafone Romania has introduced an insurance service for mobile phones dubbed as ‘Asigurarea Mobila Vodafone’ (Mobile Insurance). With this service, Avantaj and Acasa subscribers can protect their mobile devices against theft or breakage. The insurance includes mobile phones and other mobile connectivity devices such as USB modems. New subscribers and those who acquire phones or USB modems from Vodafone can avail this service. The service is offered through ACE European Group, the Polish subsidiary, and is renewed automatically every month for a maximum period of five years. The service is available in two versions; one is Standard (EUR 1.99 per month, VAT excluded, covering EUR 1000 in losses, without accidental breakdowns) and second is Premium (EUR 2.99 per month, covering EUR 1500 in losses, including accidental breakdowns).
