NHH cancels tender for fourth mobile licence (Hungary)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: NHH, Hungary’s telecommunications regulator has dropped the tender for awarding a fourth mobile licence. The companies namely Digi, DreamCom Tavkozlesi, Invitel Tavkozlesi and Mobinet Tavkozlesi Projekt have submitted the bid.
The authority said that since the announcement of the tender, both the global and the domestic economic contexts have deteriorated significantly, making financing conditions and investment returns uncertain. The regulator finds it difficult for the bidder to meet the required investment criteria due to the existing economic scenario. NHH said it failed to get a clear view of the ownership structure of some applicants.
