Versace to launch its first handset in India
Luxury brand Versace, LG and Modelabs have teamed up to launch Versace’s first handset in India the Versace Unique Ceramic collection. The phone will carry a price tag of around US$9964.
The Unique is made out of expensive materials, including 18K gold, ceramic, stainless steel, crocodile leather on the back, and sapphire crystal the display.
The phone comes packed with a 3G radio, 5-megapixel camera, Dolby Mobile sound, media player and Bluetooth. The luxury phone is available in three colors: black, brown and purple.
Levi’s Mobile Phones Coming
Levi Strauss Europe and Modelabs Group announced today an exclusive licensing agreement to design, produce, market and distribute a range of mobile phones and mobile phone accessories for men and women under the Levi’s brand label in 2007.
The gold RAZR by Dolce & Gabbana has been a big hit. So it is naturally for companies to explore more cross-branding of mobile phones.
There are no details yet on what Levi’s cell phones will be available or how they will look like.’
