www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Glo Mobile (Owned by Globacom Limited) said that the country’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), is hampering its rollout programme by holding up its requests for permits to erect masts.  Glo Mobile’s Head of Technical-Rollout Mr Idowu Olumodeji reportedly said that the company has been forced to push back its launch deadline several times already because the EPA had not issued the requisite permits. Glo had submitted no fewer than 500 applications for permits, covering most of the regional capitals, but to date has not been issued with a single permit, Olumodeji further said.
