Verizon Wireless introduces Motorola Rival in USA

The handset has multimedia features from Verizon, including V Cast Music with Rhapsody, V Cast Video, Visual Voice Mail and VZ Navigator.  The Motorola Rival is a side-slider with QWERTY keyboard and features IM-style texting that organises messages by contact, displaying them in a chat-like format. The Rival features a 2.0 megapixel camera, and connects with AOL Instant Messenger, Windows Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger with Mobile IM.
The handset is available in tin silver and purple colours at verizonwireless.com and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores for USD 99.99 after a USD 50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year contract.
