Verizon expands 3G wireless coverage in Mountain Center, California (USA)

www.WirelessFederation.com/new: Verizon Wireless, an operator of a wireless voice and data network and a joint venture of Verizon Communications and Vodafone (NYSE:VOD) (LSE: VOD), announced that it has activated a new cell site in Mountain Centre, Riverside county, California, US.

The new site reportedly expands 3G wireless coverage in Mountain Center, along Highway 74.

Verizon said that the company has invested over USD600m in California in 2008 to enhance service and coverage.
