Nokia N86 available for pre-order online, priced at GBP 399 (UK)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: The Nokia N86 is now available to pre-order from the Nokia online store before it starts selling in the market from 19 June.
The mobile handset’s SIM free version will be available at a price of GBP 399. The Nokia N86 is a 8MP device and will be available exclusively from Carphone Warehouse at free of charge with selected contract plans starting from 19 June until mid-July. After mid-July the handset will be available from O2 UK, 3 UK, Orange UK and T-Mobile UK. The device features a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens with an 8-megapixel sensor, which is claimed to be as good as a digital camera and the first mobile device with a variable aperture, giving users sharper photos in low light, and wide-angle (28mm) optics.
The device also comes pre-loaded with Nokia Maps 3.0, featuring 3D and satellite mapping and enhanced pedestrian navigation, including birds-eye views of tourist landmarks.
It features the application ‘Touchnote for Mobile’, which turns the photos on the phone into printed postcards that the user adds text to. It ends up posted directly to a selected recipient via the website.
