NTT DoCoMo’s flat-rate data plan subs hit 10 million

NTT DoCoMo has seen subscribers to its flat-rate data communication plans ‘pake-hodai’ and ‘pake-hodai full’ surpass the 10 million mark on 1 May. The Japanese mobile operator launched the pake-hodai plan in June 2004, allowing FOMA i-mode subscribers unlimited viewing of i-mode content for a flat monthly subscription fee of JPY 4,095. The pake-hodai full plan, introduced on in March this year, enables FOMA i-mode subscribers to view internet sites as well as i-mode sites for a flat monthly subscription fee of JPY 5,985
