AT&T launches Video Share service for 3G users
AT&T has launched the AT&T Video Share service for mobile customers, allowing them to share live video during mobile voice calls. This will allow users to share everyday experiences as they happen. It also enables a host of business applications, from viewing real estate or retail displays to facilitating insurance claims. The service is initially available in three markets: Atlanta, Dallas and San Antonio. It will be extended in late-July through AT&T’s existing 3G mobile network. Users will require a Video Share-capable handset and can choose from two service packages. The packages will cost USD 4.99 a month for 25 minutes of Video Share usage or USD 9.99 a month for 60 minutes. There will also be a pay-as-you-go option for USD 0.35 a minute.
