Xperia X10 Features + Launch

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 is the first Android phone from Sony Ericsson. The Xperia X10 sports an 8-Megapixel camera, 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a specially developed user interface that sits on top of the Google Android 2.0 OS. The Xperia X10 comes with a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen and a 1GHz Qualcomm snapdragon processor.

The phone is expected to hit the market in January 2010.

This phone was code named Rachael by Sony Ericsson before it was given its current name: the Xperia X10.

LimeLife scores $3.9M from Core Capital

Venture capital firm Core Capital Partners announced its $3.9 million investment in mobile consumer software publisher LimeLife. The company, which specializes in publishing mobile content for women, said it will employ the funding to continue development of its software products and technologies. Last week, LimeLife announced a partnership with AT&T to introduce “Rachael Ray Recipes on the Run,” featuring 30-minute recipes from the celebrity chef and daytime television host. “LimeLife combines innovative mobile technology with a unique understanding of the female consumer to create a new model for targeted programming,” said Core Capital managing director Tom Wheeler in a prepared statement. “We believe that targeted mobile content represents an extension of the same concept which made cable television so successful.
