Telekom Slovenije secures loan to purchase Cosmofon
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Telekom Slovenije has received the fund to purchase Macedonian mobile operator Cosmofon and refinance older liabilities. Two credits totalling EUR 295 million were collected by a consortium of eight European banks, including BNP Paribas, ING Bank, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich, Societe Generale, Unicredit, WestLB, London Branch, Calyon and KBC Bank. The incumbent intends to use around EUR 190 million to fund the takeover of Cosmofon, and the remaining EUR 105 million to refinance debt.
