Polkomtel acquires Nordisk Polska (Poland)
www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Polkomtel, the Polish mobile operator, has reportedly acquired Nordisk Polska from its shareholders NFI Midas and Roman Karosik for a price of PLN 11.795 million. Nordisk Polska offer wireless services in the 420 MHz band using CDMA2000 technology and holds 95 licences across Poland. The CDMA service provider also intends to expand its network using equipment of undisclosed Chinese manufacturer. The Polish company is part of Nordic group Nordisk Mobiltelefon, which went bankrupt earlier this year.
