Samsung U620 – Mobile TV coming to the US
We have mentioned mobile TV a couple of times here on PVR Wire. This is a phenomenon which is set to grow over the next year allowing the US and other western nations to catch up with Korea which has been enjoying mobile TV for some time.
Verizon has announced the Samsung U620 cell phone will be using Verizon’s new VCAST Mobile TV which is apparently MediaFLO rebranded.
How many people will actually want to watch TV on the move I’m not sure of, but its great to have the option, and with PMPs growing in popularity watching TV on the move will likely form part of our evolving viewing habits.
