Banglalink rolls out GPRS and gets personal with businesses

Bangladesh’s third largest cellco Banglalink (Sheba Telecom) has announced the launch of GPRS data services on its GSM mobile network, and is offering free GPRS usage until the end of February 2007. It has also launched a new range of mobile services aimed at the business user market, under the Banglalink Enterprise banner. Companies signing up to the enterprise package will be assigned a dedicated ‘relationship manager’ who will provide ‘personalised customer care round the clock’. Other benefits of Enterprise include customised call packages, company SMS broadcasts, free voicemail retrieval and call conferencing.
