China Telecom selects Spirent Communications for Mobile Terminal Testing

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Spirent Communications plc, a global leader in wireless network, devices and applications testing, today announced that China Telecom has selected the Spirent C2K-ATS system to test mobile phones before they are offered to its subscribers. China Telecom will use the Spirent test system for parametric radio testing, signaling conformance testing, data performance testing and location-based services (LBS) testing.

The Spirent C2K-ATS system was selected by China Telecom following an internal “bake-off” that compared solutions in several categories. China Telecom will use the Spirent C2K-ATS system to test mobile devices for compliance to industry standards as well as for application service quality. (more…)
