Etisalat to bring 3G to Iran
Etisalat which had won a mobile licence in Iran, plans to launch its services will be based on 2G and 3G technologies. Etisalat in Iran will operate as a consortium with Taameen Telecom, a company owned by the Iranian Social Security Organization (SSO). Etisalat will bring greater competition to the Iranian mobile market as it plans to provide lucrative services to the mobile users in the country.
