The programme allows its subscribers to save VND 100 for every minute of voice calls, from VND 1,600 to VND 1,500 for pre-paid subscribers, and VND 1,100 to VND 1,000 for post-paid subscribers.
Additionally, the network offers some optional packages to on-net users such as VM text, with 25 free on-net SMS within seven days for a nominal registration fee of VND 2,000.
Vietnamobile is also offering its new prepaid subscribers who activated services in June with two minutes free for every two outgoing minutes from this month through the end of September. The new customers in the programme will get a 100% value of the scratch cards and bonus 60 days of usage.

The operator, a partnership between Hutchison Telecommunications International and local operator Hanoi Telecom, has dubbed the move a “welcome back programme for thanking loyal customers.” Vietnamobile introduced its GSM services in the country in 9 April, phone numbers starting with 092.
The first phase if welcome back programme will be for its subscribers based in big cities, further moving onto cover the whole country.
The previous CDMA services of Vietnamobile were operational under the name HT Mobile. The services were then suspended in mid-2008 to prepare for its GSM services.

The joint venture between Hutchison Telecom and Hanoi Telecom, Vietnamobile is planning to begin the service over its GSM network in 64 provinces in Vietnam. The incumbent was earlier operational under the brand name HT Mobile in Vietnam, using CDMA technology. In 2008, the services were suspended to prepare for the switch to GSM, which is expected to help improve business performance. The operator said that it is launching service with a simple tariff structure, aimed at attracting customers interested in value.
Vietnamobile, HT Mobile descendant, is all geared up to launch its GSM services in Q1′09, after completion of its network conversion from CDMA to GSM. The operator will launch itself as country’s fourth GSM service provider. HT Mobile is a joint venture between Hanoi Telecom and Hutchison Telecommunication, had launched its services back in 2007 as a CDMA operator and later in 2008 recieved a GSM licence.
