Telus introduces visual voicemail as standard feature (Canada)

www.WirelessFederation.com/news: Telus Mobility, the Canadian mobile operator, is offering its mobile subscribers the Telus Visual Voice Mail as a standard feature in the Package CAD 25 and Smartphone CAD 45 rate plans. With the SpinVox-powered voicemail-to-text service, the Telus subscribers can receive voice messages without dialling into the voicemail.
The voice messages are converted in to text and the subscriber receives a SMS or e-mail. Messages delivered via e-mail can also be heard via embedded .WAV file. Telus further extends availability of the service provided by SpinVox to subscribers through both packaged rate plans and a la carte service for CAD 7.95 per month.
