Telmex reaches 98% WiMAX coverage in Chile (Chile)Telmex has announced that its WiMAX network now covers 98 percent of the population in Chile. The network reaches 91 percent of the communes in Chile, including Easter Island. Telmex received authorisation a year ago to launch the service and started offering broadband and voice services three months later.
