Telecompaper writes…Vodafone Group has signed an agreement with eBay to be the exclusive launch partner for the new eBay mobile service in European markets, excluding the UK. Vodafone customers will be able to download the eBay mobile application free of charge from the Vodafone live! portal. The eBay application will also be embedded on key customer Vodafone handsets in the future. The new eBay mobile service will launch in Italy, before expanding across Europe later in 2007. Accessed directly from a customer’s mobile handset, it will allow users to and browse items, find deals, bid on items and buy fixed price products.
